1979 Martin D35

$3,500.00

For sale, 1979 Martin Dreadnought. It has the typical Martin sound of the 70’s – which is not sought after by many musicians for nothing! This guitar has had one owner and has lived in a smoke-free home. The original case is included. With this great vintage sound, today’s guitars really don’t come along!
The top is made of Sitka spruce with its complex harmonics and the extra portion of clarity is made of especially beautiful material. The back and the sides are made of great rosewood, which not only looks optically unique but also makes this guitar an extraordinary masterpiece. Very deep, rich, and mature tone is perfectly balanced, with present mids, crystal clear highs, and booming basses (amazing what comes out of the body).

Soundboard crack, fret level, and setup have all been professionally repaired by TGR ( Martin certified Guitar technician) and is currently setup with Santa Cruz Light/Medium Parabolic Tension Phosphorus Bronze strings.
