* SOLD* 1981 Martin 000-45- Rare 1 0f 6

$8,000.00

On Consignment, a beautiful 1981 Martin 000-45 SN:435387. This guitar was purchased in San Diego in 1981 and has 1 owner, well cared for, played, and enjoyed over the years. Verified by Martin- “SN:435387 was assigned to a 000-45 crafted in 1981 and built on Shop Order 718,  It is 1 of 6 manufactured that year”.

The first 000-45 appeared in 1906 as a 12-fret guitar and changed to a 14-fret construction in 1933. Six of these guitars were built during 1942 and the model was discontinued, largely due to wartime restrictions. The Style 45 also has pearl inlays on the borders of the back and sides and surrounding the end piece and the heel. The backstrip design is simply known as the “Style 45 Backstrip”. The 000 45 is a limited production model.

It has the appropriate amount of checking for the age of the guitar. There was a thin crack on the back panel which has been repaired by TGR along with a fret level/dress and setup. Previously in its younger years, a crack was repaired on the soundboard. All parts are original and the original case and paperwork are included.
