On consignment, is this one-of-a-kind Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue) Stage Played & Signed Signature Schecter J-4 Jazz  Sea Foam Green 4 String Bass in excellent condition. This is a rare gem to find and the only of its kind. The bass is unplayed and has been stored safely in its gigbag since obtaining it. As part of the Nikki Sixx Experience, a fan brings items for Niki to sign and most instruments have 1 or 2 items signed on the front only. This bass not only has 5 separate images personally signed by the artist, but has one of the largest designs I’ve ever seen Nikki create on a signed bass. Dated February 21st, 2023 at Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour in Monterrey Mexico Nikki signed the face of the bass “FTW”, “You know Im a dreamer but my hearts of gold” (lyrics of Home Sweet Home)and signed  “Nikki Feb 21, 2023”. On the back of the body, Nikki replicates an image the owner created and is so large, it takes up most of the real estate of the body measuring 11 inches long and, Nikki writes “On with the Show” and is signed with Nikki Sixx’s signature. On the back of the neck of the bass, Nikki signs “Crue” in large red letters again taking up most of the neck and is also 11 inches long. At the concert, Nikki has this newly signed bass brought out to be played for Home Sweet Home, and at the 2:36min mark, the bass is brought out. Included with the bass is an official Mötley Crüe concert badge, original gigbag labeled #40, the original sketch of the design Nikki replicated on the back of the bass along with photos of Nikki signing the bass in a memorabilia book plus a letter from the owner describing the evening, concert and his experience backstage. 

This is a very rare artist-signed bass and there is nothing that comes close to it available anywhere. Upon picking up this bass, the player will immediately notice it’s tricked-out with a fully-passive electronics package featuring the Schecter Custom Shop USA-Made Monstertone-J pickup set, a couple of Ceramic-8 loaded beasts pumping out shocking power in their default setting and switchable to more vintage-flavored tones via a push-pull tone pot.

For the body and neck, you’ll find a 34” scale thin-C maple neck, reinforced with dual carbon fiber rods and an easy-access truss rod for maximum stability, and paired with an alder body to create a classic, comfortable combination that feels equally at-home in your arms and in your mix.

It is then outfited with quality components including a Schecter Diamond Custom bridge that offers thru-body or top-load stringing options, a Graph Tech IvoryTusq nut, and Schecter Vintage Tuners to ensure trouble-free performance so that you can focus on your groove.
